The Department has been receiving mentorship through the SIW and Namibia Business Innovation Institute (NBII) starting in March 2019 and this will be completed in October 2019. Cecilia Nkuvi is one of the 15 current finalists of the FEMBIOBIZ 2018 Challenge. She entered as a student with the scientific research she had done in 2017 on Developing and Chemically Characterizing the Baobab Fruit Pulp Juice. This idea was then required to be presented as a registered business idea hence fit into the pitching session to potential investors.
The second phase of the competition is set to commence in June 2018 and we at MISTAL have all the faith in our team member’s continued triumph.
